The colossal Japanese Robot for construction assistance

Construction Androids can be fun especially when the colossal size does not baffle you. It is amazing how such large chunks of machinery are gelled together as a robot to help assist people on construction sites. The one you see atop has been developed by a Japanese construction firm and functions as an automated crane with 29 functioning joints to furnish the requisite construction materials. In dangerous situations, the four-legged, two-armed robot can be controlled through a remote, thanks to an integrated three-chip CCD camera. It should be out in the Japanese Market pretty soon.
