In a recent project by the guys at informationlab ,they have created a space which would let you experience the invisible body of a mobile phone. Cell Phone Disco as it is named consist of LEDs, battery and a sensor that detects electromagnetic(EM) radiation.



These EM waves when detected by the censor set off the LEDs to flash for some span of time. These flashing cells are enclosed in a plastic case which is the latest fashion accessory for a mobile phone.



The Cell phone Disco installation has two major parts: The Mobile Aura where the sensors of higher sensitivity are used to detect the EM radiation of an active mobile phone in a vicinity of a meter and it creates an aura. The Mobile Drawing where less sensitive cells are used. The LEDs get activated by an extreme proximity of the electromagnetic source and thus creates an electromagnetic drawing.
