For those eagerly awaiting the Amazon Kindle 2 to gift it for Christmas this year, may have a reason to complain. Prescheduled for a release in October, the maker’s have again held back the e-book reader owing to some last minute changes in the software. And if the sources on TechCrunch are believed, then we could see the Kindle 2 finally selling sometime in the Q1 next year. The images of the successor to its hugely popular e-book reader had been leaked by geeks at Boy Genius Report and floated over the net in October. The buttons of the Amazon Kindle 2 as evident from the images are smaller to the first, there isn’t a need of a charger for the Kindle 2 as it can be directly charged through a miniUSB cable. The Kindle 2 definitely looks good and promising with a larger screen in comparison to the first, therefore we assume that the wait for it, for a little longer will not go waste.
The Amazon Kindle 2 release held, coming in early ’09
