Texas Instrument unveils ‘Blaze,’ most impressive tablet of them all

To become part of the tablet bandwagon, Texas Instruments has unveiled the Blaze tablet. Featuring the new 1GHz OMAP4 chip designed to maximize software compatibility, this 10.4-inch XVGA (1024 x 768) LCD multitouch display tablet makes room for a cellular modem, WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS and even FM connectivity. Besides this, the tablet with a modular design features multiple external camera modules, external DLP pico-projector, while there is 1GB RAM and 32GB flash memory tucked away nicely under the hood. All curious will have to wait until the end of August to get our hands on one of the these tablets, which are stuffed in with features like accelerometer and gyroscope for enhanced gaming experience, besides the HDMI, SD card and USB ports for connectivity. There is no word on the price of the Blaze tablet yet.
