Terrific trio readying Google TV for new age of computing on TV
Google TV has been in the news, while the tech world is following it close there is room for twist. And that exactly what we confronted when we heard that Google plans to team up with Sony and Intel to finish the Google TV project. This terrific trio will work out a TV with a built-in computer running Android Operating system and Intel chipsets. Though, there isn’t much to detail on the Google TV yet, but as the reports suggest, the TV would be a combination of both a set-top box and actual TV set, with provisions for Hulu, YouTube, gaming, and apps for social networking and web.

It is learned that Google will be releasing developer tools for Google TV, which would facilitate them in creating application to run on Google TV like it’s done on the Android based phones etc. It’s not just limited to the involvement of the trio, even peripheral specialists Logitech has been approached to make speakers and a QWERTY-equipped remote for the new age TV – the Google TV. If this move works to perfection, then Google and Intel will have unparallel dominance in computing and television.
