TD510: High-end speakers from Eclipse
Eclipse has launched a set of egg-shaped high-end speakers: Eclipse TD510. The TD510 follows in the footsteps of the TD512. The speakers are a bit smaller in size but use the same sound clarity engineering techniques.

The speakers have an in-room efficiency of 87.5db, and have a treble ranging from 20 kHz to 10dB. It incorporates a fibre-glass cone for a greater sound clarity; the egg-shell shape of the speakers helps to curb unwanted vibrations that usually occur in conventional box shaped speakers.
Eclipse is also releasing a set of matching floor stands with the speakers, which are designed to reduce the reflection of spherical waves from the speakers.
The TD510 is going for £1,200 per pair of speakers, and would cost you £4,800 if you want a seven-channel set. The pair of stands is expected to be priced at around £600.
