Tangible user interface Amusity table for audiophiles

The Amusity table by designer Idan Arbel is perhaps one of its kind. Directed specially towards the individuals with crave for music, the tangible interface coffee table is a great installation in a house where music is the aura. The table lets you assemble the entire music library on it, and then let’s you play music videos et al, and swipe through artists, songs, albums etc. The musical coffee table shows a few bubbles, each representing a song in the music collection, the popular songs appear in the center while the less famed are displaced to the sides. Placing a specially made speaker object on the bubble the song is played and by placing a TV object on the table the music video is displayed. Volume can be adjusted by turning the speaker object and a dome object can be used to zoom in and out on the popular zone, while a Plus object can be used to display the song’s lyrics.
