Taiwan's e-health fabric with RFID & solar panels

A smart textile fashioned by Taiwan Textile Research Institute will intelligently read your heartbeat, body temperature and blood pressure. The elegant textile is named e-health that is capable to do all this.

REFID and solar panel technology is used in the textile. RFID will ship the collected information to the doctor to examine your fitness while the solar panels will extract the solar energy to convert it into electric-energy that would be enough to play a music player.

The institute organized an exhibition where a leather jacket having solar panels into its back, was displayed. Taiwan Textile Industry will start producing energy generator jackets on big scale, next year.
