Tai Chi MP3 is a novel concept in the music frenzy world. It is a refreshing musical experience device. It’s possible to search the internet high and low to find all sorts of music players around, one after the other, you’ll bump into numerous exciting and trendy ones (besides iPods and Zunes, for sure.) Designer Tao Ma has swept a little of it up and used it on the new Tai Chi MP3 player. My brother had the yin yang hung to his neck as a pendent all his youth, and never then did I presume that this representation of the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work - would ever make for a gadget inspiration. Though, it is here, for the concept Tai Chi. Press “STOP” on the MP3 player and simultaneously turn it clockwise, the Tai Chi jumps to the next song. Press “PLAY” and at same time rotate the Tai Chi counter-clockwise and you can get back to the previous song. The entire process is as smooth and peaceful as Tai Chi itself. It’s a brand new kind of interaction, full of elegance and fun. Enjoy the refreshing musical experience, with this new concept that is a deep rooted Chinese culture design, and is all about attack and defense, forward and backward.
