TAG Heuer LINK unveils 3.5-inch, super tough $6700 Android smartphone

Yes, you've got it right, TAG Heuer has launched its solo android device, LINK Smartphone. The Swiss watchmaker has produced an elegant phone crafted in 18k rose gold, Titanium and more riches. The phone has Android 2.2 Froyo as it's OS. It is customized theme, start-up screen, launcher, wallpapers and widgets. The front of the device has gold and on the back there is carbon leather. This handset brings in complicated watch components build tightly within the phone.

The $6700 phone is approved by Google and it has access to Android market, where from you can get over 250,000 applications. The device has a Bar Type Form Factor which makes the phone extra appealing. The phone has 3.5 inch touchscreen gorilla glass with a 800 x 480 resolution and is air tight and water tight. This smartphone weights in at 200 grams and offers EDGE/HUSPA connection with Wi-Fi and stereo Bluetooth. It comes with 256 MB internal memory and an exciting Android 2.2 Froyo OS which lets you install apps to SD Card directly.

TAG Heuer says it is a tough phone as it is shockproof and airtight. In fact it comes very close to specs of LG Optimus One (150$ phone). It will have Google search, Google maps, Gmail, YouTube and E-blogger applications pre-installed in the phone. There is an autolock system on the left side of the phone which gives access to the Sim Card, Memory Card and Connector port.
