Trackpads on the keyboards have never got a real worthy treatment, but in case you love the trackpads for their utility still, the Computex 2010 is the place to be for you. Because Synaptics who introduced the buttonless, clickable PC trackpad’s are now displaying their TouchPad-IS platform based trackpads which support four-finger gestures and more, here. Besides the multi-finger support, Synaptics is also showing trackpad designed for smaller notebooks and netbooks, these based on ClickEQ to offer uniform force and uniform click depth trackpads. There’s no news on when these trackpad upgrades will be made available, but we trust Synaptics and thus we know – it’ll be very soon.
