Wonder where the world’s largest abacus lies? You’d certainly be forgiven if you thought it was in a museum, somewhere in the world but no it isn’t. Stunningly, the world’s largest Abacus lies in a drug store in the resort town of Rayong in Thailand. The Abacus is used everyday, to calculate drug bills of customers a lot faster than the electronic calculators. Coming to the dimensions of this Abacus which makes it the World’s largest, it measures 18 feet in length, a length that makes it one BIG calculating machine. The only downside to using this contraption is the fact that users need to actually be trained to perform calculations in the Abacus way. That apart, this Abacus is a very novel way to bring in customers to the store and at the same time, get the billing done real quick.
