Have you ever imagined how would it be if you have the power of moving objects by just waving your arm? Well, such fantasies are quite common especially in childhood when we watch serials like Superman and He Man. We do laugh when we recall the wild fantasies of childhood, but never expect them to happen in real. But, one scientist has designed a special robot that moves when you move your arm. Command with your arm and the robot will do the needful. Let us look at the strange robot.

This six-robot can be made to obey your commands by waving arm. Well, the devised algorithms that went into this robot makes it all possible to get instructions from hands. European research group Fraunhofer has developed this robot in such a manner that the hand of a person acts as a remote to this robot.
Talking about this six-jointed robot, Bernhard Kleiner of Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing, Engineering and Automation in Stuttgart in Germany, says:
Fuse the data of individual sensors and identify a pattern of movement. That means we can detect movements in free space.
This awesome technology will be introduced officially at Sensor Plus Test 2011 fair that is scheduled to take place from June 7 to June 9 at Nuremberg. At his fair, visitors will be allowed to test the robot by moving their arms. For instance, one can throw a ball and order the robot to fetch it by just moving his hands in that direction.
If you are interested to test the six-jointed robot, then you should visit Sensor Plus Test 2011 fair. We will, however, keep you posted more on this technology once the fair begins.
