Now, a personal lightning detector known as Strike Alert has been developed that offer users an early warning of forthcoming lightening strikes by detecting an electrical storm up to forty miles away.
Now, let’s see how it works. This Strike Alert is a tiny pager-sized lightening detector that comes equipped with sensitive sensors to determine storm distance from your end by catching decibel level of the thunder and indicates distance by a series of four LED lights affixed on the top of the device in different distance levels that ranges from 0-6, 6-12, 12-24 and 24-40.
This smart device is powered by two AA batteries to work up to 100 hours and generates an audible alarm with blinking LEDs to alert users.
However, there are different warning apparatus already available in the market with competitive prices and features but to get this warning gadget one has to shell $80 only.
