Hats off to adventurer Steve Fossett who is soaring high in his carbon fiber ‘Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer’ to cross more than 25,000 miles and break the existing record.
The lightweight experimental plane is equipped with a super fuel-efficient turbofan jet engine with a towering thrust-to-weight ratio and will take Fossett to kiss his goal of covering 27,000 miles, 43,000 kms, in the air within 3 1/2-days.
