Steampunk cheetah - Andrew Chase's mechanical prodigy

Andrew Chase has created another Steampunk prodigy, this on in the shape of a cheetah. This is a part of his latest ongoing project, the "Timmy" universe, which also includes a giraffe and an elephant. The Steampunk cheetah measures 61 cm (24 inches) high and 127 cm (50 inches) in length and weighs about 40 pounds. It is constructed out of the usual electrical conduit, transmission parts and 20-gauge steel.

This metallic freak can very well imitate the joint movements of its real-life counterpart. That's too much for a form factor which looks like the reincarnation of a cheetah in metal for flesh and bones. Scroll down for more jaw-dropping pics.
