If you thought building a boat was difficult enough, an English duo have built their own replica nuclear submarine. The couple took two years to construct the craft and measures 16 feet and is themed on a 1960s Royal Navy nuclear sub. The sub can be operated by a single person and his head would poke up the conning tower. The craft is built of plywood and an electric motor keeps the mean craft moving stealthily in the water. The interesting feature of the sub is that the person can see where he is going thanks to the small window in the conning tower and the rear-view camera makes things easier. However, the sub cannot get deep inside the water and is like a DIY product. On trial runs they could stay afloat for 20 hours and are excited about their next venture, which is going to be a German U-Boat.
