Squishbot from Boston Dynamics gives robots a new direction
Until now, we’ve heard of robots that assist human beings in various errands, but a robot that inches, climbs and even deforms is something that Boston Dynamics has ushered in, and it is definitely worth a narrative. The Squishbot has been developed with the ability to transform from a soft to a hard texture and is even capable of adjusting its dimensions up to ten times the usual to get through fine fissures.

To make things simpler, Boston Dynamics is developing an insect capable of robotic traits, something on the lines of the MIT-developed robo-snail that came into existence six years ago. Researchers segregate this category as Slug Robots, and to develop this android even further, Boston Dynamics is indeed seeking the experience of MIT to better interpret the movement on such inventions.
