Sprint is offering NASCAR FanView devices on rent for $35 a day at Nextel Cup races based on Kangaroo TV’s IVT-200, an interactive multimedia transceiver based on Linux and Qtopia.
The Kangaroo TV IVT-200 doesn’t stop at the Nextel Cup by streaming in live data of other action packed games such as football, baseball and whatever whets your appetite. The IVT-200 allows users to tailor their own audio and video feeds that are streamed in via the cellular radio networking technology offered by Nextel. The device can support up to 10 live MPEG4 feeds, along with AAC3 and MP3 audio streams for six hours continuously.
It also comes with a bunch of input-output options including an SD memory card, a headphone jack and a USB port.
