Split Concept Notebook marries artistic merit with user oriented functionality

Notebooks were never known for their style quotient; in fact, many of us merely perceive them as instruments of monotonous linearity used for mundane tasks and computations. However, there is no harm in imposing that extra essence of elegance (albeit with convenience) back into the seemingly insipid domain of electronic products, namely our ever trusty notebooks. Well, designer Jung Dae Hoon has exactly done that and more, by conceiving the Split Concept Laptop.

At the first instance, one can observe the graceful yet vivacious cover of the contraption. From the perspective of user, the practicality of the cover goes beyond the visual side of affairs. Its solid hinging mechanism can be used as 'pouch' for the laptop during normal circumstances. During working sessions, the screen angle can be adjusted by using this hinge as a reclining support, thus accentuating upon the convenience of the user interface.

In addition, when we delve inside the cover, there are delightful 'goodies' for an average user. In allusion to the name, the whole laptop can be split into different components, each with a unique artistic bearing. The components include an individual keyboard, mouse, reading remote pen, and a screen (which can be separately used as a tablet and controlled with the pen). They can be assembled together to form a completely fashionable piece of machinery, efficiently compact in its functionality, and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
