Space Invaders on 90ft-high wall takes 3D gaming to its next level

Soccer training may have gone on to a new level now. Soccer stars from Chelsea FC play an interactive 3D game of Space Invaders with a view to pay a tribute to the coin operated game of Space Invaders. Though playing an interactive 3D game may not sound too be-dazing, but choosing a ninety feet wall as a platform to train themselves to perfection maybe a harebrained idea.

Chelsea Soccer Stars David Luiz, Branislav Ivanovic, Paulo Ferreira and Nicolas Anelka skipped the training session and chose to be on the interactive field instead. The foursome was asked to destroy the alien invaders on the giant screen by kicking footballs on to the screen, and each destruction earned them 50 points. Destructing the Mothership would earn them 188 points, since the event was sponsored by the far famed online bookie 188Bet.

Nicolas Anelka finished as the best performer out of the four, after an intensely heated action. He ended up earning as many as 2088 points, leaving his fans back home puzzled. It's a sad thing that he has not been able to produce such results on the green turf of late.
