Electronics have been introduced ahead of CES for a while now, but Sony has been hiding somewhere in the burrows with its gadgetry until now. Finally we have something from the manufacturer, but it’s only images of Sony’s VAIO P ultraportable on display at CES that guys at Engadget managed to spot (blurred but real). With the spotted pictures it’s revealed that the VAIO P series has done away with the trackpad, and instead has a trackpointer for navigation.

Housing a chicklet keyboard with more space for better typing, the system will, as known before, have a 1.33 GHz Intel CPU, 32-bit Vista OS, 60GB HD with up to 128GB SSD available and an 8-inch LED display with a pretty high 1600 x 768 resolution. It’s only time before we have Sony delivering the unit official. How far they may stretch is anyone’s guess.
