Wireless headphones are great when you look at them but actually they are too bulky for you to carry around and many people still prefer the wired counterpart as they being small and easy to carry.
The reason for this is that the wireless headphones have to integrate a Bluetooth receiver in the small headphone that makes them look ugly and bulky.
Sony has taken the case seriously and is working on a technology to send music directly through your body and into your headphones. They will be using a small electrostatic charge through your body and the charge has to be kept low to avoid any nasty tingling in the hearer’s body. So they are currently able to achieve only 48Kbps from the transmission else it would be a painful music experience.
The current technology uses the listener’s body as a capacitor and the music device sends a fluctuating signal to a conductive cloth pad such as a wrist band this charges the wearers body and the charge is then picked up by a set of conducting headphones from the ears of the listener.
However, I think that many music lovers will not be satisfied with just 48Kbps and will be ready to suffer some pain for the high-end 320Kbps music quality.
