Sony unveils first DVD Walkman with DivX video support

Bridging the gap between computers and entertainment devices and promising a true mobile entertainment experience to consumers, Sony Canada and DivX Inc has unveiled a new portable DVD Walkman with DivX certification permitting users to playback DivX videos on the go.

The tiny D-VE7000S DVD player boasts of a 7-inch widescreen LCD and comes packed with a rechargeable battery, Dolby Digital surround sound and easy compatibility with camera, gaming system or television. The player supports a wide range of playback disc formats too. You can grab it in Canada for around $269.99 USD.
