Sony is all set to update its Cyber-Shot camera range with three state-of-the-art digital photo frames. Manufactured under the ‘S-Frame’ label, the 7″ DPF-D70, 7″ DPF-V700 and the 9″ V900 will rewrite the rules to showcase your digital images. The frames are designed to nurture your passion for creativity and extend it well beyond the boundaries of image capturing. The heart of the new S-Frame series is the downscaling processor that can handle up to 48-megapixel shots in most image formats. Featuring a native HDMI output, the new frames are capable of attaining 1080p support and showcase your images in 800×480 resolution. The frames are capable of handling RAW shots (in ARW, SRF and SR2 formats) and support JPEG, BMP and TIFF photos.
The added attractions include Bluetooth adaptors to wirelessly upload photos from cellphones (the top two models) and an integrated image editing software. Ten different slideshow modes, a calender and a clock complete the package. The frames are priced at $140, $190 and $250 respectively.
