Sony to unveil world's first Internet TV incorporating Google TV on October 12

While Apple TV and Boxee Box are still on the back page, Google TV is up and making its mark amid the inquisitive consumers. And Sony has taken the first stride in helping GTV come to life by announcing "the world's first Internet Television." The Sony Internet TV will make provision for a built-in support for Google TV and the combo will be unveiled on October 12 in New York City, for which the invitation for the event have just been sent out. Sony Internet TV will be the first live presentation of the Google TV, which is a Web-based video service that integrates Google search and other Web-based elements in the TV, letting you enjoy both television and websites on the same screen. There will be many manufacturers that’ll follow Sony’s route, so just look on for all the developments in Google TV over the next few coming months.
