Sony PlayStation 3 is in for some expansion, with the manufacturer introducing white 160GB model as the first slim variant past the black one. The console will be made available with color-matching Dual Shock controller. The other good news on the PS3 is that the black console would get a 320GB model upgrade. Both the PS3’s remain unchanged in the feature set, and are expected to be available in the Japanese stores beginning July 29. The 160GB white PS3 slim would cost $341 while the black 320GB PS3 would cost $398. It is learnt that the American prices for the two new PS3 models would be lower at about $299 for 160GB system and $349 for the 320GB system.
