Sony shows 3D gear including a 280-inch 3D LED display
3D is creeping into electronics faster than we expected it to. Sony has been a fascinating breeder of the new technology and to live by the fact, the company showed off 3D video production systems at the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition 2009, Japan. The set of revealed systems included a business-use camera, a 3D image adjusting processor and projector and monitors with similar 3D capabilities.

Amid the showcased cameras was the recently introduced 4k2k 3D video shooting camera projector, the SRX-R320 and the HDC-P1, a multi-purpose camera for 3D images. Besides this, Sony also showed a 3D LED wall that is a 6.4m x 3.4m 280-inch LED display capable of displaying both 2D and 3D videos. The user needs to wear the specially made polarization glasses to view this LED wall that’s made in a combination of 70 LED displays.
