Yes, it is the same thing that we talked about sometime back. The good news right now is that it comes way before its scheduled time that was mentioned to be October. This PlayStation 3 will come upgraded with v3.50 firmware rendering it capable for 3D Blu-ray, which not only makes it worldwide compatible with Blu-ray 3D discs, but also increases its 3D capabilities.
