[CES 2010 preview]. For all amateur yet enthusiastic camera buyers, Sony has released two new cyber-shot cameras the DSC-TX7 and DSC-HX5. Loaded with full-HD video recording and the new TransferJet wireless file transfer (short range wireless communication) ability with in-camera HDR and backlit Exmor R CMOS sensor, this is the first time when cyber-shot range from Sony gets SD and Memory Stick cards.

The $350 DSC-HX5 with novel GPS and compass for instant information of the best clickable location in the vicinity, features 25mm wide angle Sony G lens with 10x optical zoom and a 3- inch LCD. The full-HD 1080i videos taken by the camera can be transferred using HDMI out. The DSC-TX7 on the other hand is priced at $400, cost for 25mm wide angle lens, 4x Carl Zeiss optics and a 3.5-inch touch LCD. The TransferJet Memory Sticks would cost an additional $100.
