Sony products get together to form gigantic mechanical heart

Special effects company Artem used over a 100 bits of Sony kit gigantic, pulsating, mechanical heart. The 2x2 meters heart has bits come from gadgets like the Bravia TVs, Blu-ray players, cyber shot cameras, VAIO laptops, walkmans and PS3s. And why did Sony do this? Marketing, of course.

Sony has created the heart for ads that will run during England’s soccer World Cup qualifying campaign on ITV. The idea is to “further brand association with Sony and English football.” Way to capitalize on the soccer fervor. Videos after the jump!
