Sony PlayTV:Priceless Is The Word!
There is some extremely exciting news for Playstation addicts! The long-awaited Sony PlayTV will soon hit the markets, hopefully by September this year. The PS3 has been one of the most widely sold gadgets in the world, with unit sales of over 5 million. With the launch of the PlayTV, these figures are expected to hit the roof. The PlayTV is an add-on gadget for the gaming console. The device offers an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) for easy surfing as well as a personal video recorder that can be leveraged by users to record channels on to the 40GB hard drive. Dual TV Tuners are also incorporated along with Freeview access, whereby you can record a channel and watch another simultaneously. The most interesting feature, of course, is the ability to connect the PS3 with the PSP through Wi-Fi. Now that's what we call a true multi-tasker. The result is a personal global TV channel. At £78 or 99 Euros, the gadget might sound expensive, but what the heck! For something as cool as this, priceless is the word!
