Sony Pictures to deliver seven Blu-ray titles on June 20

Unleashing a new chapter in the digital format war, Sony Pictures is all set to roll out the first Blu-ray movies on June 20. The release coincides with the launch of Samsung's first Blu-ray DVD player and a Sony VAIO Blu-ray PC. Initially only seven titles will be released, including 'House of Flying Daggers', '50 First Dates' and 'The Fifth Element', more titles will follow suit.

It will certainly be a hard nut to crack for Sony, especially when Toshiba's HD DVD player and movies have already gained some platform.
