After Kodak and Panasonic, now it’s Sony’s turn to flaunt the new high-definition pocket camcorders at CES. Dubbed the Webbies, the latest range of camcorders by Sony - the MHS-CM1 (available immediately) and the MHS-PM1 (available in March) - will cost $200 and $170 respectively. Looking more like a traditional camcorder, the MHS-CM1 comes with a 5-megapixel stills camera, a 2.5-inch LCD screen and 5x optical zoom, while on the other hand, the MHS-PM1 is slightly more compact and features a lens that can rotate on a 270-degree angle, together with a Memory Stick slot and 5-megapixel stills camera. Both the camcorders come in a variety of colors and you may pick from orange, purple and silver.
