Sony flaunts DVP-FX850 portable DVD player

Sony has announced to add a new portable DVD player model DVP-FX850 in its family. This 8 inch display device plays USB media and promises high resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Its battery life is almost six hours and offers screen rotating feature up to 180 degrees angle.

The device decodes Dolby Digital audio with its built-in 96kHz/24bit DAC. It measures 226 x 32 x 165 mm only and weighs somewhere around 1 kilo gram.
After keeping in view plenty of DVD players that are already available in the market this new model touts only for its MP3 and JPEG files playback system directly from a USB memory or hard disk.
No information about price but the device is expected to hit the shelves sometimes in May.
