Sony demonstrates SnapLab Digital Photofinishing System
After HP, Sony too has plunged into the photo kiosks market with the introduction of its 'SnapLab™ Digital Photofinishing System' which was displayed at the opening of the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) convention.
The "on-location photo lab", is loaded with a 8-inch 640 x 480 dot resolution LCD touch screen and the system churns out superior prints directly through its printer, thanks to its dye sublimation technology. The portable SnapLab system comes with Memory Stick™, CompactFlash, SD, SmartMedia and xD and USB slots. The high performance photofinishing system takes just 13 seconds to print a 3.5 x 5-inch digital photo and 16 seconds for a 4 x 6-inch digital photo print.
