It’s often a long wait to see what you’ve clicked get printed. There are cameras that have printers built in, but then not all have access to such cameras. Therefore, a need arises for a portable printer, one that you can carry around when outdoors or elsewhere, for which Sony has announced the DPP-FP67 and the DPP-FP97 Digital Photo Printers at the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) photography and imaging trade show in Las Vegas.

Small and light enough to be carried wherever required, Sony’s newly delivered printers can print 4 by 6-inch photos on demand. Allowing for both editing and customizing the images, the printers - DPP-FP67 and DPP-FP97 have 2.4 and 3.5-inch LCDs, and can print images in about 63 and 45 seconds respectively.
The only significant difference in the two announced printers is that the DPP-FP97 along with printing the regular media files also features a HDMI port and supports Compact Flash. To be made available in May, the DPP-FP67 would retail for $120, while the DPP-FP97 will be priced at $200.
