
Sony’s surprise gift for the dwellers in Japan is a new line of wireless HDTVs that’s an upgrade to what Sony has offered previously in respect. Introducing 46 and 52-inch wireless models in its BRAVIA ZX5 wireless HDTV line, Sony’s got the series to deliver 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.
Each fitted with TV Station hub possessing four HDMI slots, a pair of D5 component equivalent ports, a pair of RCA jacks, and single S-video and VGA slots along with the 240 Hz refresh rate and LED-backlighting. Shipping in Japan for $4937 and $5581 respectively starting November 20, the TV sets also support Ethernet connection and could be made available outside Japan sometime later.
