Cameras are going smaller by the day, but the functionalities and the utilities are just increasing despite the size. This is been proven true by Sony with the announcement of the production plan of ultra-compact digital cameras featuring large interchangeable lens. Announced recently at the annual PMA (Photo Marketing Association) camera show, this transformation will enhance the small-scale portability of point and shoots cameras in more than one way, increasing their durability and image quality to match that of the larger DSLRs. The great aspect about the cameras in the making, which also gives the likely possibility of something of the sort to see the light of the day, is the fact that the sleekly visualized cameras will use Sony’s own APS-sized exmor HD CMOS sensor with HD video capturing ability (seen in the DSLRs).
