An ultrasound system remote that can be fed with voice commands to be later comprehended and that too in a language of your choice sounds like a novel invention. The name is SonoRemote folks, and it has been designed to control the SonoSite M-Turbo and S Series systems during procedures like joint injections or central line placements. Changing parameters or taking snapshots will not be required any more, for the power would lie in your hand. The SonoRemote has a range of 10 meters (the radius, of course) and it cuts down the need of breaking the sterile field. For the careless attendants, it has been drop-tested to three feet.
