Solida's Cerevellum bike computer: Digital riding

Posted By: Madan Lal | Dec 18 2007

Solida's Cerevellum has got an interesting modular approach unlike others available in the market. Hindsight, a camera module, which can be fixed at the end of the handlebar or at the back of the seatpost, can send pictures to the display mounted just in front of your handlebar. Not only that, via plugging in USB modules, you can access GPS capability, heart rate readings, and even the amount of energy you're expending pedaling that bike.

Currently, it's just a prototype, but is fully functional. After Solida gets a manufacturer for it, prices can be expected to be around $300 for the head unit, $60 for a cyclometer, $200 for the GPS unit and a massive $800 for the power meter.
