Solar-powered robots being developed as traffic controllers

Robots are being made for tasks where humans have been efficient until. After settling scores with humans in the home department, robots may soon find their way out on roads replacing traffic officials. If Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has it its way, we may soon have solar-powered robots used in guiding traffic at varies road project sites. The robots powered by the sun will control traffic at major ongoing road projects in Doha and its outskirts 24/7 without disruption.
