This is a totally independent house that will meet all its energy requirements on its own. The 3000 sq ft house has got solar panels for production of electricity and in summers can produce 60 per cent more energy than required by the house.

It took $500,000 to execute this plan and from it $100,000 came from the owners Michel Strizki. In this one of its kind project the New Jersey Board of public Utilities also contributed $225,000 grant and the equipment was supplied by various sponsors of the project.
The house has an eletrolyzer plant that save hydrogen so that if there is not enough sun the Hydrogen can be used to produce energy from fuel cell.
The media relations for this project Sashe Annete said that this will be prototype for such future projects.
The research done on this will go down a long way in building energy conserving houses of the future.
