This ugly thing (Plz refer to the picture) can you believe it, it’s a wireless speakers that are solar powered.
Let alone how it performs but I will hate to keep this thing in my room. It looks alien or it’s an object brought from mars by NASA. I know the green peace activists will frown at me for criticizing this eco-friendly thing but I do not have the heart to look at it again.
Now lets see how it works, the speakers have 7xAA batteries that you can recharge either by AC adapter (when its cloudy) or via solar energy. It will take you at least 6 hrs from sunlight or 12 hours by AC adapter to recharge, there goes the best part of your day seeing it being recharged.
Its water proof, sturdy and well unattractive (do not know how many times I will have to say it). It also includes a remote and if you make up your mind to by it can be connected to portable devices such as music players or a CD player.
The 900MHz frequency will allow the speaker to be mounted up to 50 meters away from the transmitter and can give you clear sound even through walls and floors.
The speakers are priced at AU$ 199 a princely sum for a thing like this.
