If you are as sick as I am, trying to fix those bulky ass AC adapters into those power strips with one or the other socket trying to nudge the other one out, you are going to be glad to know that Chul Min Kang and Sung Hun Lim have gone back to the basics.
It has been a while since anyone tried to tamper with the power-sucking, socket overcrowding conventional power strips, which is the reason for my ecstasy on hearing about the E-rope. This IDEA award-winning concept is basically about a modular power strip which can be twisted and turned at will to accommodate those Godzilla sockets. Even Vampire power (power consumed by appliances in standby mode) can be slain by the E-Rope by simply twisting them 90°.
E-Rope, as the name suggests can be a rope with a dozen or more power strips joined, shining their trippy blue light all along. It has still to find a manufacturer, which I am sure is not going to be a tough job.
