smartsight gun
Jack popped out his head in the battle and Dick had a nice patient shot in the middle of his forehead. This is a scenario very common in movies and real-life battlefields. To end these fatal moves, Smartsight, a wireless camera-laden gun with built-in night vision has been introduced as a solution well thought out. For sharpshooters and special task forces of course, the Smartsight features a camera in a seven-inch tube clipped onto to the barrel of an M4 SOPMOD carbine.

Benefiting well with its handy, light and rugged make, the 12-pound prototype gun scores best with its wireless ability owing to which the gun can reach any place – around bends or down in the burrows, without putting the operator in any kind of jeopardy. The mounted camera other than using its built-in infra-red laser can capture images in any visibility and send them back wirelessly to a computer, which is a small heads-up video display worn over the left eye of the shooter.

The Smartsight has taken about 10 years to reach this far in its make. Because it is a great prospect to help save soldiers’ lives, I think the process should be hurried and the makers should get this out soon.
