Customization is something gadget-makers have been musing about for a while now. They have always attempted to create products that change themselves to suit the user's needs. Designed by Roland Cernat, the SmartBook "mobility computing device" has what it takes to be the ultimate customizable computer. Applications extend from a regular laptop to a scribble pad to a dual-screen monitor without a keyboard. Possibilities, like the creator says, are diverse, and it is left to the user how he/she wishes to use it. And something that we shouldn't ignore is the fact that the SmartBook is also high on aesthetics. The future does hold a lot of promise!
