It hasn’t been long when we witnessed the miniature delight of the Flip Video Mino, a pocket-sized camcorder from Pure Digital Technologies. And now the makers are back to play around in the hi-definition club with the introduction of the Flip MinoHD. Flip is famed for cheap, durable and handy-little camcorders, and the MinoHD endeavors to carry the legacy forward.
What’s innovative:
Designed on the same lines as the previously introduced Mino, the MinoHD is an easy to use 4 x 2 x 0.6-inches 4GB flash memory camcorder, capable of recording 1280×720p of hi-def widescreen footage. Touting an 1.5 inch display with touch sensitive controls, the camcorder also houses FlipShare video editing and uploading software (available as and when the MinoHD is plugged into a USB 2.0 hub). The camera boasts of two hours of battery backup.
