A Turkish website Donanimhaber leaked that AMD will launch a new fusion based Quad Core chip for notebooks based on its new platform “Sabine.” The new variant coded A8-3530MX will be a performance unit featuring 1.9 GHz A8 3530mx and 4MB of level 2 cache. This will be the fastest processor, which can run turbo care up to 2.6 GHz. It will pack an integrated Radeon HD 6620 graphics core, getting 400 shaders and can support the 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM as well as a low power DDR3L memory. AMD fusion will be compatible with Bly ray 3D and USB 3.0.

Apart from features listed above, there are other attractions, as it will have 128-bit memory bus and can support Crossfire with external GPUs. This set also has an ability to support Direct X 11 at 444 MHz, sound exciting, but the company itself does not yet confirm the news. If we believe the Turkish site, the 32nm quad-core processor will be available anytime during June 2011 and will be a touch competition for Sandy Bridge platform. Previously, the site revealed some information for NVIDIA and it turned out real. Moreover, if it happens it will give a serious competition to the Sandy Bridge platform.
What’s known
AMD will announce a new fusion chip, which will be a part of company’s “Sabine” platform with a base clock speed of 1.9GHz, which can automatically boost up to 2.9GHz. The performance per clock will be like the old Athlon 2 and Phenom 2 mobile processors. All thanks to the 32 nanometer chip architecture. The fastest processor will feature 4MB of level 2 cache and has AMD Radeon HD 6620G graphics core supporting Direct X 11 and getting 400 shaders. The memory support will be available for 1600 MHz of dual channel DDR3. The processor provides support for GPUs, even external. AMD call this combination of CPU and GPU as APU (Accelerated Processing Unit). It will have 128-bit memory bus. This feature packed processor will launch sometimes during June 2011. The processor will work with laptops like AMD Fusion E-350, which supports the portable devices like the 11 inches ultraportable HP Pavilion dm1z.
