Skype has finally hit the App Store, bringing VoIP to the iPhone. The app is free, and works over Wi-Fi; 3G and EDGE cannot be used for the application. The app will have most of the functions from Skype, and you can chat and make voice calls as well. Skype’s journey to the mobile phone doesn’t stop here, as Skype will reach the BlackBerry in May. Japan was the first to get the app, and screenshots have come through.
